Sacred Heart Greenwich Senior Julia Stiker ’25 Named a National Merit Scholarship Winner
Sacred Heart Greenwich is proud to announce that Julia Stiker ’25 has been named a National Merit $2500 Scholarship winner, one of about 6,870 students nationwide to earn a Merit Scholarship award through the prestigious 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program
The National Merit $2500 Scholarship is the most competitive award offered by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) and recognizes students based on their exceptional performance on the PSAT/NMSQT, as well as their academic records and other achievements. This honor follows Julia’s earlier recognition in September 2024 as a Semifinalist, a distinction earned by only 16,000 of the more than 1.3 million high school juniors who entered the program by taking the 2023 PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
As a National Merit Scholarship winner, Julia is among the nation’s top academic achievers and is the recipient of a $2500 award to support future academic pursuits. This award is offered as part of NMSC’s ongoing efforts to recognize and support talented students who demonstrate excellence in academics and contribute positively to their communities.
“We are incredibly proud of Julia for this outstanding achievement,” said Mr. Michael F. Baber, Sacred Heart Greenwich President. “Her dedication to academics, leadership, and personal growth is truly exemplary. This recognition is well-deserved, and we look forward to seeing all that Julia will continue to accomplish at the University of Notre Dame and in the years ahead.”
