Dan Pauletti of Rye Brook Among Scholar-Athletes Committed to Play Collegiate Sports

Three Iona Preparatory School scholar-athletes, including Dan Pauletti, 17, of Rye Brook, committed to playing collegiate sports as part of the school year’s second National Signing Day on February 7. Dan, who plays  Center/Offensive Line, also received offers from Merrimack College, Sacred Heart University, Hobart College, and New Haven University. While at Iona Prep, he played football for four years, baseball for two years, and was a member of the Strength & Conditioning and Sports Management Clubs.

His accomplishments include being a CHSFL Semifinalist in 2022 and 2023; a  Member of the 2021 CHSFL & New York State Catholic Football Championship Team; a CHSFL All-league and All-County player; a recipient of the CHSFL Golden Eleven Award, which goes to top student-athletes in the CHSF; and a Westchester County Golden Dozen Finalist. He was also a Team Captain of the 2023 football team. 

The ESPN- style event held at the Tully Gym included remarks by Athletic Director Ryan Mahoney, Varsity Football Head Coach Joe Spagnolo, and other school dignitaries, with proud parents, teachers, and fellow students watching remotely on LocalLive.
