Certificates Awarded to Harrison Youth Third and Fourth Grade Football Champions for Incredible 8-0 Season

At the Harrison Town/Village Board meeting on December 3, Harrison Supervisor/Mayor Richard Dionisio and their coaches, coaches Nick Keene, Chuck Guadagnolo, Steven Zackman, and Matthew Stern, presented Certificates to the Harrison Youth Third and Fourth Grade Football Champions, for an incredible season, going 8-0 to win the Westchester Youth Football League Championships. Coach Michael Bolnik was not at the meeting. The team’s Head Coach is Jason Farina.

Next, the Board approved a request by Superintendent of Recreation, Gerry Salvo, to accept an $800 donation from the Japanese Community of Harrison for the Celebration Fund, a request by Police Chief John T. Vasta for two department members to attend All Things K-9 Training on March 3, 2025 at the Lyndhurst Fire Department in Lyndhurst, New Jersey, and a request by Steven Wrabel, Esq. on behalf of his client 2500/2700 Westchester Avenue, Single Purpose Entity (SPE) LLC to schedule a Public Hearing on January 8, 2025. 

Two requests by Comptroller Maureen MacKenzie were also approved. The first was to accept Holiday Project donations totaling $9,380; the second was an authorization to get for formal bid to purchase lockers for the Harrison Meadows Country Club.

 The Board also approved a request by Village Attorney Jonathan D. Kraut to accept the Proposed Stormwater Control Facility Easement and Maintenance Agreement for Hayden Lane, formerly known as 38-40-42 Buckout Road in West Harrison.

 Finally, the Board also passed a resolution Regarding the 2025 Sewer Rent Fee for the following Fiscal Year. Pursuant to Local Law 228, Wastewater System, the rate per gallon or cubic feet of water consumption to be used in determining the sewer rent will be calculated by dividing the revenue by the water consumption of all system users in the previous fiscal year.
