Harrison Public Library Presents, "A CLEAR VISION: Paintings by Sheldon Snyder”
The exhibition, “A CLEAR VISION: Paintings by Sheldon Snyder will be on display at the Harrison Public Library from September 3 to September 27.
Sheldon Snyder has stated, “Organizing flat geometric shapes and using minimal colors, I paint the subject in a conceptual way excluding the inessential.”
Snyder studied art at the Brooklyn Museum Art School, the High School Of Music And Art, classes at the Modern Art Museum, and Syracuse University. He has exhibited in Tel Aviv, the Bronx, and, often with his daughter Tova Snyder, in Westchester County. Along with painting, he has worked in wood and has made toys. He has written and illustrated a number of children’s books.
