Harrison High School Students’ Works Selected for School of Visual Arts Exhibit

Harrison High School digital arts students, senior Justin Suozzo and junior Michael Brandt have their work featured in the School of Visual Art’s Photography and Video exhibit “We the Present: Today Begins the Future.”  The contest invited student participation as a “jumping-off point for students to use photography and video to explore what it means to exist in the current moment as we look ahead. How do technology, media, and current events shape our present, and how might they inform our collective future.”  The “impressive and compelling” work from 49 students was selected from a global pool of submissions. Justin created a series of original digital composites responding to the way technology plays a critical role in our lives, and Michael submitted his photo titled, “Inflated” — taken at Rye Playland last summer. Their work will appear in a print publication that includes a selection of the best work from participating high schools.
