Harrison High School Students Earn Top Awards at Science Symposia

Harrison Science Research students earned multiple awards at the Westchester Junior Science and Humanities Symposium. The symposium is an opportunity for high school juniors and seniors to present original research in science, technology, engineering or mathematics as they pursue a chance to compete at the regional, state and national level.
The following Harrison High School Students earned awards: Ariella Blackman – 1st Place, Plant / Earth & Environmental Sciences, Lauren Davidson – 1st Place, Medicine & Health, Lauren Schnapp – 3rd Place, Medicine & Health, Zaynab Faisal – 5th Place, Animal Science. Ariella Blackman and Lauren Davidson earned the opportunity to compete in the Upstate Speaker Competition and Lauren Schnapp competed in the Upstate Poster Competition, where she took 1st place. Adidtionally, Latini and Bora Kose submitted designs for the JSHS Journal Cover Design Contest and earned Runner-Up. Their designs were displayed work on the day of the competition.
