On Thursday April 7th, music students from the Harrison School of Music and New City School of Music will rock the Guest House at Graceland in Memphis, TN.
Home of Elvis, there’s a full two days of music from schools all over the country performing rock, pop, classical music and more on April 6th and 7th.
There is a 400-seat theater on the Graceland property and the students are excited to perform.
Thirty students from the Harrison and New City School of Music will perform Thursday April 7th at 3:30 p.m. ET and a live stream will be available on the school’s website at www.HarrisonMusicSchool.com and www.NewCityMusicSchool.com
The students range in age from 7-18 and include piano, voice, guitar, drums, violin and saxophone students rocking out classic hits at the birthplace of rock and roll.
Along with the students, the school’s teacher’s band who performed with Jon E Gee of John Mellencamp’s band at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame last summer, will back up the students.
The Harrison School of Music and New City School of Music are dedicated to showcasing their students at the top venues around the country.
The students are fresh off of their standing ovation last year at the Foster Theater at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio.
