Harrison’s 5th Grade Students Visit
NY Philharmonic at Lincoln Center

Fifth grade students from all four Harrison elementary schools traveled to Lincoln Center for the NY Philharmonic’s “Young People’s Concert.” Students learned about how the orchestra works, listened to classic works from famous composers as well as modern pieces from contemporary composers. The district’s music teachers arranged for students to meet with members of the orchestra, ask questions, and learn what it takes to be a performer with one of the world’s premiere orchestras.
