How do you achieve mindfulness and find true freedom in a world filled with daily distractions?  Teacher and practitioner George Kinder will discuss the importance of drawing out “the present moment” from the greater concepts of time and space.  Mr. Kinder is the founder of the Kinder Institute in northern Massachusetts and has practiced mindfulness and meditation for over fifty years.  Zoom event.  Adults.

Set up a personal tech appointment with a library staff member today.  Appointments are in thirty-minute time slots.  In person.  Mondays to Thursdays, 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

The annual Family Holiday Concert returns!  Saturday, December 3, 12:00 pm.  The celebrated singing group from Manhattanville College, The Quintessentials, will entertain families and friends with classic and modern holiday tunes.  Join for a special afternoon of music and merrymaking at the Purchase Friends Meeting House, located at 4455 Purchase Street, Harrison.  Children, teens, adults welcomed.
