Summer Reading Registration.  June 1 to June 30.  Register for the 2022 Oceans of Possibilities Summer Reading Program on the library’s website.  Children, teens, adults.  Read during the summer and earn marvelous prizes at the end of August!

 

Read with Pride.  Saturday, June 11, 6:00 pm.  A celebration of Rainbow Book Month.  Tosha R. Taylor, lecturer at Manhattanville College, will present an illuminating talk on significant LGBTQ authors in popular fiction and academic literature.  A Q&A segment will follow the lecture.

 

Little Bunny Storytime.  Tuesdays, June 14 & 28.  2:00 pm.  Stories, songs, dancing, finger rhymes, action rhymes!  Ages 3 to 5.  In person.

 

Teen Movie Night.  June 24, 6:00 pm.  It’s summer, and school is out.  Time for movies and popcorn!  What will the summer movie theme be?  Sign up and vote now: 1980s Teen Angst, Silent Comedies, Disaster Strikes, or Deep Blue Sea.

 

The Real Book Club.  Thursday, June 30, 6:00 pm.  The selection for June is The Night Shift by Alex Finlay.   Newsweek writes:  “Finlay has outdone himself with this latest.  [He] grabs readers from the very first line and keeps them propulsively turning pages with absolutely thrilling cliffhangers.”  Adults.  In person.
