Annual Autism Acceptance Celebration

Cerebral Palsy of Westchester {CPW} United Preschool Center (UPC) hosted its 11th Annual Autism Acceptance Celebration on April 14, 2023, as part of National Autism Acceptance Month. The day’s festivities included the unveiling of the Tree of Friendship and Acceptance, an outdoor parade in the sunshine, and interactive music and movement led by UPC music teacher Mark Pethtel, a teaching artist from Westchester’s Shake, Rattle & Roll. Representatives from NYS Senator Shelley Mayer’s office and TD Bank were on hand for this year’s event, which was underwritten in part by TD Bank, a strong supporter of CPW’s educational enrichment programs.
