Irish Heritage: A Musical Celebration. Saturday, March 4, 12:00 pm. Tap your feet to the melodic sounds of the bodhran, the uilleann pipes, the fiddle, and the tin whistle. Lyrics to “The Rattlin’ Bog” will be provided for sing-along. When the concert is over, try to find the leprechaun’s bags of gold! The location for this program will be the historic Friends Meeting House at 4455 Purchase Street. In Person / Children, Teens, Adults
Knitting Circle. Second and fourth Thursday of every month, March 9 & 23, 12:00 pm. The knitting circle would like to get together with some new members! Beginners and experienced knitters are welcome. Possible spring project might include knitting for charity. In Person / Adults
The Real Book Club. Thursday, March 30, 6:00 pm. The selection for March is The Bandit Queens by Parini Shroff. “A young Indian woman finds the false rumors that she killed her husband surprisingly useful — until other women in the village start asking for her help getting rid of their own husbands — in this razor-sharp debut.” (Ballantine Books, 2023) Zoom & In Person / Adults.
