The Rye Arts Center Unveils New Season for ‘Half Day for Half Pints’—A Multi-Disciplinary Arts Program for Pre-K Children
In a delightful blend of creativity and early education, The Rye Arts Center is thrilled to announce the launch of its “Half Day for Half Pints” program, a unique offering tailored to the youngest members of our community. This enriching, multi-disciplinary arts experience is designed for Pre-K children and their parents, providing an affordable gateway into the world of creative exploration.
“Half Day for Half Pints” offers an immersive experience in drawing, painting, music, and creative movement, all aimed at fostering the development of cognitive, social, creative, and motor skills. Led by a team of experienced instructors with expertise in early childhood education, art, and music, the program is thoughtfully crafted to meet the needs of young learners.
Children will be introduced to the works of iconic artists such as Picasso and Kusama, delight in the sounds of symphonies, and be mesmerized by the grace of ballet. Emphasizing self-expression through the arts, the program nurtures each child’s creativity, ensuring a supportive environment where every voice is heard.
