Burke Rehabilitation Celebrates Expanded Purchase/Fairfield Outpatient Therapy Site
On September 12, Burke Rehabilitation celebrated the expansion of its Purchase/Fairfield outpatient therapy site with a ribbon cutting at its state-of-the-art facility. The newly expanded site will enhance Burke’s ability to provide high-quality, one-on-one outpatient rehabilitation to more residents across the region.
Elected officials, business leaders, and clinicians across Westchester and Fairfield Counties came together to celebrate the expansion of Burke’s award-winning rehabilitation and medical care. “The expansion of our Purchase/Fairfield outpatient therapy site represents a significant step forward in our mission to increase access to high-quality rehabilitation care across this region,” said Scott Edelman, MBA, CPA, CFE, Executive Director of Burke Rehabilitation. “This facility not only enhances our ability to provide personalized, patient-centered care but also reaffirms our commitment to the communities we serve, ensuring that our neighbors in both Westchester and Fairfield Counties can receive the one-on-one care that sets Burke apart.”
Burke Rehabilitation Purchase/Fairfield Outpatient Therapy is a satellite facility of White Plains-based Burke Rehabilitation Hospital, which has the lowest rehabilitation hospital readmission rate in the country and is ranked on both U.S. News & World Report and Newsweek’s lists of top rehabilitation hospitals nationwide. The expanded and newly renovated site boasts over 5,000 square feet and is located in the Purchase Professional Park, owned by Simone Development Companies in partnership with Fareri Associates.
The milestone received a written commendation from United States Senator Kirsten Gillibrand.

The Purchase/Fairfield site offers a comprehensive range of specialized treatments, including:

Originally opened in 2002, the Purchase/Fairfield site was the first of Burke’s 13 outpatient facilities located throughout the tri-state area. The expansion will permit Burke’s expert therapists to support up to 15,000 patient visits annually at the site. The renovated facility’s open layout will allow therapists to use more dynamic activities and treatments to optimize patients’ functions, offering new strength and cardio equipment to help reinforce therapy sessions. The space was intentionally designed to foster a personalized healing environment for every patient, through hands-on care at individual treatment mats and privacy during initial evaluations.
