Historic Gardens of Westchester to be Presented by County Historical Society

Westchester is home to many magnificently designed gardens that reflect a variety of historic eras and fascinating cultures. The Westchester County Historical Society is providing a virtual tour of these exquisite landscapes on Thursday, August 11th at 5:30 pm.

August Events at The Purchase Free Library

On Saturday, August 27 at 11:00 am., The Purchase Free Library will host Touch Tank!  Kyle Troy from the Marine Education Center will visit to talk about local marine life and ecology. Troy will bring a few friends in her “touch tank” for kindergarten to Grade 6 children to view and touch!

Tracy Fitzpatrick, Ph.D., Director of the Neuberger Museum of Art, has announced the Museum’s acquisition of Romare Bearden’s River Mist (ca. 1962) from the Romare Bearden Foundation, courtesy of DC Moore Gallery in New York City.
